For years, grey and cool neutrals dominated Irish interiors. Now the mood is changing.
The 2026 interior conversation is moving towards warmer neutrals, earthy colours, richer browns, greens and more characterful tones. UK and Irish design coverage is also pointing towards more personal interiors, with homeowners becoming more confident about using colour and texture.
That doesn’t mean you need bright colours everywhere.
A warm oatmeal, soft stone, muted green or deeper earthy tone can completely change the feeling of a room while remaining timeless.
Blinds are a particularly easy way to introduce colour because they can create a noticeable difference without requiring you to redecorate the entire room.
For autumn, we’re expecting to see more warm browns, natural greens, soft creams and textured fabrics appearing at the window.
Sometimes the easiest way to refresh a room is simply to look at the window differently.
