Blinds are no longer simply about covering a window. In 2026, homeowners are looking for window coverings that combine comfort, privacy and good design. Across Ireland and the UK, we’re seeing a move towards warmer colours, natural-looking textures, softer fabrics and more personalised interiors.
For Nairn Blinds customers, this means there are more ways than ever to make a window part of the overall room rather than something that simply disappears into the background. Soft neutrals remain popular, but richer earthy shades, textured fabrics and carefully chosen patterns are making their way into living rooms and bedrooms too.
Roman blinds are particularly suited to this approach because the fabric becomes part of the room’s character. Roller blinds, meanwhile, offer a cleaner and more contemporary finish for homeowners who prefer a minimalist look.
The big trend for 2026? Choose blinds that feel like part of your home — not an afterthought.
